2. Overview of data collection

We only process personal data to the extent necessary to provide a functional website and our content and services. Processing usually only takes place with your consent or to fulfil a contract or pre-contractual measures.

3. Hosting and delivery

The website is provided via the Lovable platform and delivered through Cloudflare's global edge infrastructure. When the site is accessed, technically necessary connection data are processed (in particular IP address, time of request, user agent, requested URL). This data is necessary for the secure and stable delivery of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR and our overriding legitimate interest under the FADP).

Providers: Lovable AB, Stockholm, Sweden. Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA.

4. Backend, database and authentication (Supabase)

Form submissions are stored in a PostgreSQL database operated by Supabase. The provider is Supabase Inc., 970 Toa Payoh North, Singapore. Data is hosted in the EU region (Frankfurt, Germany). The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract or pre-contractual measures) and our legitimate interest in reliable data processing (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

5. Contact and booking requests

If you use the keynote booking form, we process the data you provide (name, email, optionally company and phone, preferred date, location, audience size, budget, topic, message) for the purpose of handling your request. The data is stored in our database and additionally sent by email to info@laura-vogt.com. We do not pass this data on to third parties unless this is necessary to handle your request.

The data remains stored with us until you ask us to delete it or the purpose of storage no longer applies. Statutory retention obligations remain unaffected.

6. Newsletter and book release list

If you sign up for information about the book release, we store your email address and the time of registration. The data is used exclusively to send the requested information. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time, for example by a short message to info@laura-vogt.com.

7. Cookies and tracking

This website does not use marketing or tracking cookies and does not include third-party analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel). We only use technically necessary storage values, for example to remember your preferred language (German or English) in the browser (localStorage). This processing is based on our legitimate interest in a functioning website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

8. Fonts and external content

Fonts are delivered locally or via the edge infrastructure. There is no connection to Google Fonts or comparable third-party providers. No videos from YouTube or Vimeo are embedded.

9. Recipients and processing agreements

With the above-mentioned service providers (Lovable, Cloudflare, Supabase, email delivery service) we have data processing agreements or comparable data protection guarantees in place. Any transfer to third countries (in particular the USA) only takes place on the basis of appropriate safeguards (e.g. EU standard contractual clauses, EU-US Data Privacy Framework).

10. Your rights

You have the right at any time to information, correction, deletion, and restriction of processing of your personal data, as well as the right to data portability. You can revoke any consent given at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority, in Switzerland with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), in the EU with the competent national data protection authority.

11. SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons this website uses TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the lock icon in your browser's address bar and the "https://" prefix.

12. Changes to this privacy policy

We reserve the right to adapt this privacy policy so that it always complies with current legal requirements or to reflect changes in our services. The new privacy policy will then apply to your next visit.
